Another popular hunting destination is Limpopo Province in the Northeast corner of south Africa forming the border with Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Limpopo is named after the river with the same name.
Limpopo province is home to many of South Africa’s hunting and touring industry. In addition to hunting, Kruger National Park is also located in this province. In addition to tourism other economic activities in this region are mining and citrus agriculture.
Hunters are typically met in Johannesburg airport (JNB) and then driven by car to the hunting camps. The majority of camps here are 5-star hunting lodges or detached chalets with ensuite bathroom facilities.
In addition to hunting and game viewing, other sites to see are Debengeni waterfall, Mapungubwe National Park, Amarula Lapa (Home of Africa’s famous liqueur!), and Echo Caves.
