One of the most popular hunting destinations is the Eastern Cape Province on the South Eastern tip of South Africa. This province is one of South Africa’s agricultural hubs with a great deal of citrus and other crops being grown. Abundant sunshine is one of the key ingredients that make the Eastern Cape popular. Also, with more than 300 days of sunshine per year it is the sunniest of all the South African provinces.
The Eastern cape has abundant wildlife. Visitors can see and hunt game and also enjoy the marine life at the coast including whales and sharks. This province also has Addo Elephant Park, Baviaanskloof Wilderness area and the Southern tip of the Drakensburg mountains. There is much to see and experience. Additionally, the Eastern Cape is a Malaria-free area.
Hunters coming to the Eastern Cape arrive at Port Elizabeth Airport (PLZ). Traveling to the hunting area in Sundays River Valley takes approximately 1 hour. Our camps here are either fly tent or 5-star hunting lodge with bathroom en suite. The terrain varies greatly from gentle rolling hills to vary steep slopes depending on the species desired.
