What is a Dangerous Game Safari Like?

What’s different about a dangerous game hunt?  The Big Five animals in this group are of the most cunning, strategic animals on the planet!  You might check out another of my articles, what a plains game safari hunt is like which will give you a basic idea what a safari hunt is like in Africa, but then add the factor of danger, then it becomes ten-fold.

Imagine a journey through the differing terrains of Africa. You’re encountering zebra, sable, and many other animals you’ve only heard about. You’re enjoying the beauty and wonder of this safari when all of a sudden you find yourself slowing your pace to a stop. Something feels different . . . then something catches your eye . . . you just noticed a faint outline moving in your peripheral vision. You turn and notice the black tips of ears . . . you realize they belong to a lioness stalking something through the tall grass. Perhaps the impala you just saw? Or perhaps “you?!!”

Your heart pounds as adrenaline shoots from the very core of your body down to the ends of your fingers. A strange combination of fear, apprehension, and excitement overwhelms you. Life as you know it just changed, as you realize you’ve come face-to-face with the great equalizer of “being” the hunted.

What is a dangerous game safari hunt like?  Each animal in this category presents its own danger. A trophy of this caliber places you in a league of the most elite hunters in the world. You’ve just earned your first Big 5 safari memory!  Not everyone welcomes the mad adrenaline shot of fear and such a heightened sense of exhilaration.  We’re waiting for you! “Step up your game” with JD African Safaris.  Complete our form for more information!
